Dear friend of Shaarai Torah West,

Another year of our shul’s rebirth is well underway and we are very proud of our progress. Our Shabbos morning minyan grows stronger every week and we are looking forward to expanding our Shabbos, Holiday, and weekday service schedule. And remember, none of this could have been possible without your support. We thank you for being a part of “saving the shul” over the past two years.

Now, however, in order to meet this year’s budget and get through whatever this winter has in store for us, we again need your help. We ask that you pay your outstanding membership dues, donations, or pledges before the end of this calendar year. (See bottom)

We have worked hard to save money by cutting staff expenses, winterizing the shul, replacing our oil burner with targeted electric heat, and placing all our lights and heat on timers. It has helped, but again, we need your support.

Besides the charitable donation tax advantage of sending us a check now, you will be performing a great mitzvah as we continue to sustain and maintain the last fully functioning Orthodox shul in Worcester. We thank you in advance and invite you to celebrate our shul’s success by joining us in a special Shabbat Chanukah service and Kiddush/luncheon on Saturday morning December 24th. See you then.
